Serving Australia, Asia Pacific and Africa.

The site has been redeveloped to help you navigate and find the information and documentation that you require. There will be new items posted regularly so why not bookmark this site for future reference!

If you are thinking about sitting the exam, most of the information you require will be under the 'Exam' Button on the above navigation bar. For all IBCLCs your information about recertification is under 'Recertification' on the navigation bar above. Please don't stop there take a few minutes and have a look around.

If you have not heard of IBLCE before see how a small group of committed people, have managed to offer the world's first truly international certification program. We conduct the annual exam to credential International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) all over the world, building bridges across language and geographical borders. There are currently over 17,000 IBCLCs in 69 countries across the world. We bring together health professionals and mother support counsellors who share a common knowledge base in human lactation, and a commitment to quality care. We believe in what we are doing, and we do it for the benefit of breastfeeding mothers, babies and their communities.
